On demand scanner

 

You can request a scan of your computer at any time. This section allows you to configure Padvish’s actions in on demand scans.

 

You can configure the Scan settings here and it contains:

 

• Real-time Cloud Scan

By selecting this button, you can enable real-time cloud scan engine on scanner.

 

·         Heuristic engine sensivity

Selecting Heuristic, you can activate and increase the level of scan task to detect unknown viruses in your system that has not yet been identified. Highest level means unknown threat detection rate is high but scan processes are resource-intensive. Lowest level means Scan resource consumption is low

 

·         File selection

In order to protect any specific file type by the scan tasks, you have three options: scan all files, intelligent selection or file extensions selection.

 

·         Archive Scan

Selecting this option you can allow Padvish to scan compressed files specially those which are packed many times.

 

·         Default action

Certain threats: Scanner allows you to select two options with two priorities against certain threats and also let you send a copy to Quarantine.

Suspicious files: decision on suspicious detected threats will be done automatically with two priorities or by asking the user.
